How quickly can we expect a response to our reservation request?
We do our best. Life on "Day Dreamer" can be busy and we also may be out of range when we get a charter request. We will get back to you as quickly as possible. Please feel free to call 404-966-0245 in addition to filling out request form. We look forward to meeting you!
Can we customize our trip?
Absolutely! Live your dream! Just let us know what you would like to do.
Can we bring more than 6 people?
No. Day Dreamer is a Coast Guard approved vessel and meets all safety requirements to carry no more than 6 registered guests plus crew. Maximum guests for overnight sails are 4 in two double cabins with a private head.
Only registered guests are allowed on the boat. Sorry, no pets.
what are the captain's qualifications?
Captain Scott has Coast Guard OUPV License.
Is there Air conditioning?
Only when we are in a marina connected to shore power. Other than that, it is nature's true fresh air. The best way to sail!
Has "day dreamer" been coastguard inspected?
Yes. This is our home and safety is our top priority.
How does weather effect our charter?
Sailing is always weather dependent. The weather in the Florida Keys is tremendous most of the time. If the Captain feels it is unsafe, your money will be refunded. Our commitment is for you to have a wonderful experience. If you are not having fun, we are not having fun.
What if date I want is already booked. Is there a waitlist?
Absolutely. There are a variety of reasons a group needs to cancel. Let us know if you need a specific date or first available.
Is there an additional charge for holidays?
Yes. Because of high demand, there is a surcharge for Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, and Valentines Day.
Do you supply fishing equipment?
Please bring what you need.
do you have a Kayak?
There are two kayaks on Day Dreamer. They are available for your use on long sails.

Payments:
Day Charter: Full payment for day sails is due upon booking.
Multi-Day Charter: Deposit of 1/2 is due upon booking multi-day trip, balance due 3 days prior to sail.
Cancelation:
Our Goal is for everyone to have a great time and to enthusiastically refer all your friends.
We understand that everyone has personal emergencies, and unexpected disruptions. Please let us know as soon as you find out you need to cancel so we can offer your time slot to those on the waitlist and update the calendar.
Day Charter: You will be given the option of rescheduling or will receive a full refund if notice is received 24 hours prior to sale. Payment will not be refunded for no-shows or cancelations within 24 hours.
Multi-day Charter: You will be given the option of rescheduling or will receive full refund if notice is received 3 days prior to sail. Deposit will not be refunded if notice is given within 3 days.
No refunds for prepaid customer's upgrades, provisions, etc, (groceries, liquor, catering, dockage, activity bookings, etc.)
If the Captain has to cancel for any reason, such as, weather, repair, illness, the cost of your charter will be refunded, and you will be given first option to reschedule.
Weather: We normally sail if there are only scattered rain cells or pop ups cells. We avoid heavy rain, high wind (over 15 K) and when lightning is predicted. Our local forecasters are good at predicting major events many days in advance. Contact us if you have additional questions about weather.
When does the boat leave the dock?
Please be at the dock 30 minutes early. We will leave on time, or earlier if everyone is there. No refunds if you miss the departure.
Who is allowed on the boat?
Registered guests only. Under age 18 guests must be accompanied by parent. No illegal drugs. No pets.
